The STC-2023 conference is a follow up of the Finsler Extensions of Relativity Theory (FERT) international forums held in Cairo in 2005, 2006 and 2008.
The past conferences focused on research into different space-time geometries and manifestations of the anisotropic Universe.
More than 100 participants from 20 countries took part in these conferences. Among them were Louis Kaufman (USA), Gary Gibbons (UK), Zhongming Shen (PRC). The programme of the conferences, apart from the main physics and mathematics section, included an extensive historical section related to visiting and studying the cultural monuments of ancient Egypt.
